two posts in one day? Oh, by the name of Cthulhu the almighty!

I figured it would be nice to start this blog with my graduation project.

I studies in bezalel (4 year program- Animation). my major was Classic animation.

"Born to be Dead", My grad film, was made with hand drawn traditional 2D animation. and was vectorized and colored through Toonboom Solo 1.1. I used several programs for this projects, including Mirage 1.5 (TVpaint) for some frame by frame and pre-rendered effects. I used Photoshop CS to color and texture the Backgrounds and Adobe premiere for the video/sound edit.

everything was made by me, aside from the voice acting.

a whole year of hard work..but, it was a cool experience.

so, check out "Born to be Dead"

and this is the Poster I made for the film:

Chronicles of mindless bullschisse

Ah, yes. The first post on my blog.
I bearly slept for the last few days, my sanity is going down the drain.
...further down the drain, I mean. like..really really deep.
..
in the parts where even the boldest of plumbers dare not to reach.
..yep..that deep.

Anyway, since this is my first post, here's a little intro for my work.

I'm a 2D/Flash artist, so this might give you a clue about what I do.

My Animation Showreel:

this showreel includes some professional work and some clips from my independent films.

In this blog I'd rather focus more on my independent work, since my final goal in this career is to somehow be able one day to direct and produce my own TV show...without being violated oraly in order to do so.

not an easy task considering the fact that I live in Israel. the Industry is limited, work lacks variety and budget and most people overall lack vision or motivation. so these days I'm applying for several Animation MA degrees abroad (Calarts, MCAD, Royal College esc...) in order to try and move to bigger industries with more opprotunities.

wish me luck!

I'll be sure to update this blog with new drawings, animations and updates when I work on new project.

but for now, I'll gradually introduce you to my work.

so...stick around. It's gonna be a bumpy ride!

May the spirit of Chuck Norris be with you all.
